The special cover on Jewett Memorial Baptist Church, Ongole on the eve of completion of 150 years since 1866 was released on Christmas day 2017 in the premises of the church. Sri D. awareness programme on sanitation particularly to create

Dengue fever which is widespread at present in Prakasam District.
Around 80 officials
of postal department and General public
attended the programme very
enthusiastically and made the event a
grand success.
As a part of the event Plantation of saplings on post
office premises and surroundings was taken up.
Swatchbharat pledge
also conducted.
The programme came to
a conclusion after all the staff members
and the public offered floral
tributes to the Father of the nation
